What the sum leaves out
No stock to buyEvery flavour and size Tropicana carries, without paying for it up front or finding shelf space. You pay Tropicana when a customer has paid you.
Customers who come back inEach collection brings a customer back through your door, and while they're in, they might pick up something else.
The sale you'd have lostWhen the flavour a customer wants isn't on your shelf, you can sell it there and then at your till instead of sending them elsewhere.
How it's worked out
- Your prices are Tropicana's trade price plus VAT, plus your markup, which is how TropShip Connect prices your shop.
- Tropicana charges £5 + VAT for each TropShip order, whether it goes to the customer's home or to your shop for collection.
- Card fees are Stripe's standard fee for UK cards: 1.5% + 20p of what the customer pays.
- The licence is £39 a month, or £390 a year.
- If you're VAT-registered, every figure is without VAT: you pay the VAT you charge to HMRC and reclaim the VAT on Tropicana's invoices. If you're not, the figures are what actually goes in and out of your bank.
- It's a guide, not a promise: your own costs and tax aren't included.
